Márcia Simão

ENROLMENTS &
CORE COMPETENCY CHOREOGRAPHER

As a certified Sexological Bodyworker and Somatic Sex Educator, Márcia has become the supporting bridge between our students and the teaching team, in the role of Enrolments & Core Competency Choreographer. She believes that we live in a relational Universe, where our lives revolve around relationships – relationship with the self, others, body, pleasure, work, nature, past/present, divine, money, etc.

Erotic and sexual embodiment and education play a key role in the understanding and integration of our ever fluid intrapersonal relationships – the relationship we have with ourselves. This is where all other relationships stem from, bridging our internal and external worlds, forming and shaping our universes.

With a background in architecture, design and business enterprise, she’s passionate about creating structures and systems which support and refine human behaviour in the spaces and environments they inhabit – physical and non-physical – enhancing and enriching human experience.

“Relationships are everything and everything is relationship.” – Buckminster Fuller

CSSE IN TRAINING

I am a Mother of 3 of African-Caribbean and Spanish descent, born and raised in London, UK and living in Portugal for the 20+ years and I have a a background in dance and performing arts.

I cultivate a deep passion for teaching others how to connect to their body, to their natural joy and erotic expression, and have been facilitating groups for the last 20 years, guiding with empathy, compassion, lightness, curiosity and a strong sense of grounding.

Being a mother of three, and having struggled myself with not prioritising my own pleasure, I am called to share what I have learnt on my own journey and show you how it is possible to grow and transform into an erotically gifted being even after years of self neglect.

In my work I encourage others to give themselves permission to connect to the parts of themselves that are fully alive, where their deepest truth and wisdom reside, cultivating a healthy relationship to Eros, Life force Intelligence.

I became interested in Sexological Bodywork and have been certified and practicing since 2023, thanks to the ethical integrity and solid ground it provides as we dive into the most vulnerable places within ours selves.

Some of my art projects are also about sexuality, norms and taboos. As a witch, I work with love. I like to accompany people in their intimacy and sexual empowerment.

I work as a sexworker for women&queers, as well as a sexological bodyworker (freshly graduated), a facilitator for sexpositive retreats and workshops.

Martijn Gorree

CSSE IN TRAINING

Martijn Gorree (he/him), 40ish Dutch guy, former internet nerd turned sex geek and freshly certified sex coach.

Coming into this work from a mindfulness background with the Plum Village tradition. Followed by a few years of tantra experience and explorations in the world of Shibari.

Currently offering one-on-one coaching and facilitating workshops and events themed around personal development and sexuality.

I’m bringing loads of patience, sharp observations, directness, humor and a loving welcoming heart to those willing to dive into their sexuality.

I help people experience limiting beliefs or behaviours that may be blocking their sexual expression. Helping them develop new patterns of thinking and behaving that promote greater closeness and connection to themselves and their partners.

Overall, my goal is to help people realise their agency and freedom in sex. Helping them face their shame and shadows. Free of judgement. To deepen their sense of intimacy in themselves and other aspects of life.

Betty Martin Wheel of Consent

Betty Martin

CONTENT & COURSE ADVISOR

Dr. Betty Martin has had her hands on people professionally for over 40 years, first as a Chiropractor and upon retiring from that practice, as a certified Surrogate Partner, Sacred Intimate, and Somatic Sex Educator. Her explorations in somatic-based therapy and practices informed her creation of the framework, The Wheel of Consent®.

As part of her work with the School of Consent, Betty travels around the world teaching practitioners how to create empowered agreements in their client sessions, in her highly sought-after training “Like A Pro: The Wheel of Consent for Practitioners.” Originally developed as an offering to teach much-needed consent skills to sex workers and touch providers, this training is now attended by somatic therapists, massage therapists, sexuality educators, medical and health care workers, activists, human resources folks and the spectrum of touch-based professional providers – all of whom complete the training with a clear understanding of how consent starts with our own bodies, and then expands outwards into all forms of human relating, with or without touch.
